Liking the new layout of the forum  *:)* I assume its the result of a forum software update.

Havent noticed any issues with anything as yet.

Great job tony :)

Bri.

Ok - so the forum has changed... I have changed the following:

  • template from Blue to Green...
  • Added a gallery
  • Upgraded the core software
  • added a Chat and Shoutbox feature

There are HUNDREDS of mods available to use now - but I think that is enough for today...  *jawdrop*

I need to know of any issues you find - also if there is a feature you think is no good - then we vote on it and remove it...

Likewise - if you find a mod you want to add - we use SMF version 2.0 RC4 if you have a look on the SMF mod site http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?action=search;smf_versions=57

Spell checking is not an option for now - I have checked the available version for the forum - but they are not compatible with this version for now... so we will have to live with the following options...

FIREFOX: install the dictionary options... to do this go https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/language-tools/and install the add on.. (FREE) Spell check then works fine... misspelt words are underlined in red... right click and correct...

IE USERS: go to http://www.iespell.com/download.php and download your version - this is free as well....

Google Chrome Users:

Words that arent recognised or are grammatically incorrect are underlined in red, right click on the highlighted word and it'll bring up a list of alternatives or and option to add it to your dictionary.

Interestingly enough, it doesnt actually recognise 'Google'

Can you tell me how to show recent postings first please.

I had it set up to this before the upgrade but it seems to have reverted to showing the initial  posting first again.

Otherwise the upgrade is a great improvement thanks.
