It looks really cool, and I am sorry I missed this meeting. :(

Great looking tank, to keep it with CO2 will be a challenge, but from the list of plants is it to be low tech?

I really like the previous layout:

i think using the manzanita wood instead was definitely the way to go in my opinion and has a result gave you loads more options to chose from resulting in a fantastic scape  *:)*

Yes I liked the previous one also in a weird way, but I think it would benefit from some arrangement.
It will be a low tech tank. Ive run out of co2 and having 3 empty bottles and no place to refill them at a decent cost I have thrown the bottles in the skip.

You threw away 3 co2 bottles? As JBL bottles or FE?

If FE, no loss, but if JBL bottles then you got serious issues. :) Why not give them on your forum?

true mlgt those were lovely pieces of wood and a lovely size has well and although i know you would have done a great scape with them i just felt they was a bit too bulky and would have limited the space you had available  *:)*

I agree - what a waste... I posted on this forum where people in London can get refills - cheap service too!

THey were FE bottles, and cost wise it didnt work out to get them refilled in London for a decent price.
It would work out nearly the same to jsut buy from ebay or something.

i can shed some light on this subject basically when you take the fe bottle to be refilled they actually give you a replacement and send your bottle to be re-tested before filling due to regulations and health and safety, so by doing this you never keep the same bottle but just gets replaced by one in stock.

nearest one to living waters is this place  http://londonfire.net/   *:)*

So its been a few weeks since the meet.

I have finally gone over to take photos.

Different angle

Right mound

Placement

I am somewhat unhappy as I know I need to replace the dragonstone. However was thinking I can only see the inperfections now, but once the algae has come and the staurogyne grows in. No one will see the difference.
