Due to the number of automated SPAM accounts that have suddenly appeared on the forum during this last week it has forced us to enforce harder registration requirements. For those of you who use the forum regular - you may recall a character window appear where you typed a string of random characters. This was fairly clear and some script kiddy may have figured out how to get round this.
We now have the characters now hidden in static noise and also at angles etc so this should slow the spammers down.
We have also today trimmed the member database and blocked a whole series of IP addresses which blocks known spam sites etc.
If you spot any spamming or pornographic material, deframatory comments etc then please PM the admin team immediately. The content will be removed and the user banned.
